How your documents are protected
Document Vault is built on private, encrypted cloud storage with bank-grade safeguards around every file.
Enterprise cloud infrastructure
Your documents are held in a private, access-controlled cloud storage bucket operated on enterprise infrastructure — not on a laptop, an office server, or a shared drive.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Files travel over TLS and are stored encrypted at rest. Nothing in your vault is publicly addressable.
Access only through signed, expiring links
Every view or download is authorised per request and issued as a short-lived link. Links expire, so a copied URL does not become a permanent back door.
Screened uploads
We accept PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text, CSV and images only. Executables, scripts, archives and macro-enabled Office files are rejected before they can be stored, and each upload is re-checked on our servers, not just in your browser.
Full activity trail
Uploads, downloads, shares, handovers and any assisted filing by our team are recorded in an audit log you can review.
Least-privilege by design
Personal vault items stay private to you. Organization items are visible only to members you grant vault access. Vault Assist access is opt-in and revocable at any time.
No storage system anywhere can be described as unhackable, and we will never claim otherwise. What we can commit to is layered protection: private storage, encryption, per-request authorisation, screened uploads and a complete audit trail. You remain responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you upload, and for keeping your own account credentials secure — we recommend a strong, unique password. Keep your own independent copy of anything business-critical.
